SAILING THE WAVES OF THE PAST
On the last cool night of October, Admeta Trini Mulciber was born to Junius Nero Mulciber and his lovely wife Nola Lin Mulciber. Being the youngest of the two, Admeta always had to live up to many expectations and make sure that everyone knew she existed. Her father Junius had wanted two sons but instead was graced with a girl, one he didn't not care for. If her mother Nola had not been instantly over joyed that she finally had a daughter, who knows if Addie would still be around. She may not have been the favourite in the family, but nevertheless, being a pureblood had its perks. She would get whatever she wanted when it came to merchandise, whether it was the doll in the window or the newest broom model. When Addie was younger she would always tag along after her brother until he started getting educated by their grandfather and father. That was when Addie had to find things to do herself. It was also the time when she was introduced to other kids her own age. Well they were kids that came from pureblood families her father was associated with. It meant that she really didn't have a choice if she wanted to play with them or not. Amidst all the negative aspects of being forced to play with other kids, she did meet her best friend during these play dates. Once she was old enough, her grandfather started teaching her everything he knew and he felt was important for every wizard to know. That was the beginning of a life long proses of trying to be the best she could be.
Despite her grandfather humiliating her when she got her letter from Hogwarts, at age eleven Addie was finally shipped off to Hogwarts to join her brother. While sitting alone in one of the train cabins, she was reunited with some of the friends she made during her days at home. During the sorting hat ceremony, she was sitting on the stool a bit longer the most. The hat was judging her and based on the humiliating memory that was still fresh in her mind. He was debating with her whether or not she should be in Ravenclaw but the determination she had to prover herself as the best in her family made him put her into Slytherin. It was a sigh of relief for Addie as she did not need another reason for her family to look down at her. To this day, she has never told anyone about that moment with the hat, because she knew her family would never see her as one of the family if they knew.
Throughout the next few years that Addie attended Hogwarts, she had caused a bit of trouble. Not like most people but enough to have her family doubting that she could amount to anything. She had blew up a few cauldrons and been caught trying to go into the forbidden forest. When she wasn't inside doing everything she could to succeed, Addie was outside on the quidditch pitch flying around just for the sake of flying. She loved the game but she wasn't able to try out for the house teams. So whenever she had to get away from everything, she could be found on the pitch. School for Addie was something that came easy. She did fairly well in every subject except potions. That was the only subject that she just could not master. There was just something about her trying to mix things together that did not work.
Nevertheless, this lack of potions skills gave her the excuse to find herself a potions tutor. What she hadn’t know back then was that not only was he her potions tutor but later on he would become her boyfriend. After a few boring potions lessons from him, things started to get a bit more interesting. One thing lead to another and before long, they became a couple. It was then that Admeta’s dating life started, to her brothers despair. She could be found running around with a new guy every week as long as he wasn’t a muggle born she didn’t care. When you live in a boarding school, far from your parents you do whatever you want for as long as you can. Admeta could never really find a guy that wanted to be around her for long and thus her reputation started to form. She was considered a whore because most of the guys she tried dating would just dump her a week or two later. They were usually lame reasons but Admeta didn’t care she knew that she would find someone who liked her for her and not her body.
Coming back to a new year at Hogwarts, Addie was determined to make at least a few more friends to at least have someone who could distract her sometimes when she went overboard. She is also planning on finally finding someone who will accept her for who she is. For a girl stuck with guys that are the same age as her but not fully matured it is very hard. Not being one to give up, Admeta will take this new year as a great way to start her search once again.

Admete is of an average build. She is five foot and four inches weighing around one hundred and ten pounds. She has changed a lot over the years and finally developed into woman from the kid she used to be. Her hair darkened a bit from a light brown to a darker redish brown. The change in her hair colour also made her chocoalte brown eyes stand out more. She is fairly skinny and now has a more definded facial structure having lost some baby fat.
CLOTHING
Aside from the usually green and silver tie, along with her white dress shirt and black skirt, Admeta has an interesting choice for a wardrobe. Well maybe not that interesting, she tends to sway more to the jeans and tshirt side of the fashion spectrum. There are time she will wear a dress when her mood suits here. One of her favourite is a long and ruffly white summer dress. She had worn it through out most of the summer loving how cool she felt in it. Despite being in a dress, she still wore her favourite black and white converse shoe. She had seen her brother get a pair and fell in love with them ever since. When her body is not clad in a simple t-shirt with random ink blots on it, she could be found wearing any number colour of blouses and shirts. There might even be times where she will go out in only a bakini top but that is when she wants to get a tan by the water. This situation had not happened yet but since she’s grown over the summer her outfit might change up a bit. Mostly, Admeta dresses in whatever make her feel comfortable. If that means stealing her brothers sweater because it’s big, and comfy then so be it.

CHARACTER TRAITS
+CARING - Admeta might now show it often but she is a caring person. At least when it comes to people in her life who matter. To everyone else she is a cold hard bitch that no one wants to be dying around. For her it is just a way to keep up her image for her family.
+FUNNY - Admeta might not be a comdeian but she is funny none the less. She knows how to tease and she will do so when she knows the person. She always loved playing pranks on her brother when she was younger. He tended to ignore her and that was her way of getting attention. When she had come to Hogwarts, she still pulled some pranks. Now she does it less often but she knows how to take a joke or a prank.
+UNDERSTANDING - Despite being a pureblood taught to always hate anything not pure, Admeta is understanding. She knows that it is not someones fault if their parents mated with a muggle and thus she is willing to look the other way when it comes to half bloods. Muggle born that is a while different story. She is very understanding to the half bloods.
-CLUMSY - No matter how hard Admeta tries she will never be able to shake her clumsyness. Anywhere she goes she will knock something over or trip over something. It is just how she is and it is one of the reasons her father and grandfather don’t think she will amit to anything. Being clumsy is a downfall for her because not only does she hurt herself a lot, she endangers others as well. Most Slytherin’s are suppose to be graceful.
-MANIPULATIVE - Since her success with the sorting hat she had been trying her way at manipulation. Whenever she does not get her way she will do what it takes to change that around. Sure there might have been attempts that haven’t been sucessful but she still tries. Whether it is pretending to cry or looking hurt, Admeta will try anything to prove to everyone she is better then they think.
-IMPULSIVE - Admeta does things on impulse sometimes and that has gotten her into trouble. She is so set on proving herself to her family that she will do anything without thinking about it first. In her first year she attempted to go into the Forbiden Forest on a dare, and it had ended not so greatly. She had wanted to prove that she wasn’t just talk not thinking about what actually lived in the forst that could possibly kill her.
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES
+CHARMS - Since the day she took hold of her ivy wood wand, Admeta felt like the new weapon was an added part of her. She has had the best luck with Charms with her wand thus excelling in the class greatly. The movements and spells come naturally to her as if the wand is controlling her instead of the other way around. It is not a stick she holds in her hand, instead it is her hand. Her ability to throw out hexes, jinxes and spells easily make her an outstanding dueling opponent. She has had moments when she did not even remember saying the charm for it to be already out heading towards her target. Admeta would never tell anyone of this ability.
+DARK ARTS - Ever since she was old enough to understand words and sentences her grandfather had been telling her everything and anything he knew about the Dark Arts. Both her father and grandfather were well schooled and educated in the Dark Arts and opted for their them to know it too. Admeta spent long afternoons listening and learning various Dark Arts things.
+MEMORY - Admeta has a way with always remembering someones face when she meets them. She also has a great memory that lets her visually see things. It is a handy little trick that helps her remember facts and dates for tests. Being able to put a face to a name when you’ve only met someone once is a very useful trait. Admeta can remember everyones name she’s met but she decided to play dumb sometimes because she really does not need to seem like a freak.
-POTIONS - The very first day in her potions class Admeta knew that she was not going to get into the class. Why one may ask? Well she was leaving class covered in sut, her hair a mess and her eyebrows burnt off. Admeta had the worst class of her life and she knew that she would never in her life excel in potions. It was just not her thing. It had started off great, she had mixed in the first few simple dry ingredients and things were going well. What happened next she would never really be able to explain fully, not even to herself. Following the instructions she had added the liquid components and then there was a loud bang sound as her cauldron exploded into a million pieces. She just sat there for the rest of the class wondering when her eyebrows would grow back instead. There is something about the concept of Potions that causes her mind to go blank and without thinking; she mixes the wrong things together. At least now she had an excuse not to have to cook.
-SPIDERS - When Admeta was young she would always be following after her brother wanting to do things with him. He however, didn't want his little sister tagging along while he played with his friends and one day made sure she would leave them all alone. It was a warm summers day and Admeta had gone outside to try and join her brother's make-belief game. They had been playing explorers at the edge of the forest outside their house and when Addie came out her brother had decided to play a trick on her. When she finally got to the edge of the forest to see if she could play with them, he had said they were going to go exploring in the forest itself. Their parents had told them to not go into the forest because there were a lot of unknown creatures in there but Addie had really wanted to ply with them so she followed. It wasn't long before the boys had run far ahead of her and she was left in the dark forest all by herself. After calling for her brother for a few minutes, Addie tried to find her way back to the clearing but being young and having no sense of direction, she ended up going deeper and deeper. The further she walked the closer the trees got together and the harder it was to move through them. Not knowing where she was going, Addie had stepped into a spiders nest. This nest didn't have one spider by its lonesome, it had a whole colony of spiders surrounded a ring of trees. Before she knew what was happen, the spiders started attacking her, crawling all over her body. As the many hairy legs attached themselves to her body, Addie screamed at the top of her lungs. It wasn't long before her parents found her in the forest but to this day Addie will not only freak out when she sees a spider, she may even go into a panic attack that causes her to pass out.
-DIVINATIONS - Admeta is not and never will possess any trait that is common with anyone who is successful with Divinations. She is a cluts a lot of the time and that in itself will tell you a lot about her lack of future telling. Admeta is constantly falling down, knocking things over or tripping up the stairs. Yes she is one of the few unfortunate people who can trip up the stairs. Many only trip down but Admeta can defy gravity. She had tried to do the whole tea leaf reading mumbo jumbo and all that she saw in the tea leaves was leaves. It had driven her professor mad and she had given up on the class. Never will she be seeing the future that does not involve it being a planned trip to Hogsmead or studying all weekend.

OCCUPATION
Admeta is unemployed because she is a student. It would be great if students could have part time jobs but getting to and from the castle would take more time then the actual job was worth. That is why Admeta is focusing on her schooling instead. Maybe once she is out of school, she will have a job but for now this pureblood witch is riding shot gun on her parents fortune.

The thick strands of black hair slowly moved on the pale face as another chill breath passed through thin red lips. The thin auburn cloak waved in and out of the wind behind the figure as it sat perched on a worn stone tombstone. If it wasn't for the movement of fabric, it could be mistaken for a very lifelike statue. For the past few weeks the figure stayed in that exact spot all night long. Once the sun was up again, they would disappear until it went down. It was a bit pasted midnight when the figure showed some signs of moment. A pale slim hand reached into the cloak pocket, pulling out a slim box of cigarettes. Once the cancer stick was out of the box and nestled gently between the firm lips, the figure quickly lit it before taking a deep breath. Moments later a long cool breath escaped the figures lips, just as the long black hood fell away from its face revealing Lexa Avery.
Lexa had been sitting on the same gravestone every night for the past month waiting and hoping that he would show up. It had been a while since she had seen him and after everything they went through, she knew he couldn't just throw it away. Not without a fight. At least she wasn't going to let him throw it away. Every night she would sit there and wait, knowing he would come when he finally swallowed his anger and pride. There were some nights when she could tell he was near but never showed himself. She would wait as long as it took to finally get him to talk to her. To this day she would never believe that such a trivial argument would break up a long lasting tight friendship. Especially one with so many secrets like theirs. Sighing heavily, Lexa played with the cigarette in her fingers, as she stared at tan line on her ring finger. It seemed like years since there was something on there, yet there were no regrets on her part for what happened. But that was a completely different story one that didn't need to surface unless it was noticed.
Taking another long puff from the cigarette, Lexa sighed and turned her attention to a mighty oak tree that stood a couple yards away. Her eyes flashed for a moment when the wind blew a new scent her way. Licking her lips, she took another puff of the cigarette. "Can't hide forever Alex. You're drawn to this place and you can't avoid it." She said casually not even raising her voice knowing Alex would hear either way.
Lexa stayed where she was waiting for her words to travel towards the others direction. She knew he would eventually hear it and that was all that mattered. The only question now was if he would respond to it by leaving and not coming back for another week or so, or would he come over and finally yell at her. She couldn’t take the suspense of the situation nor the waiting. As much as she could fake it, patients wasn’t really her strong suit. It was something she gave up on easily but no one really saw that. Well no one except Alex who had seen her through her worst and best. It didn’t matter what was going on to either of them, showing their emotions to each other was something that seemed to come naturally. At least that’s how Lexa felt about it and after what she saw with Alex it seemed he was more secretive about things. Even now when they were fighting about something trivial as remorse, she would still be the one that apologized and swallowed her pride. With everyone already hating her, even her ex husband, she didn’t need Alex being one of them. He was really all she had left and she wasn’t going to let him just leave so easily. Not without a fight. They had been through too much to just throw it all away.
The long slime hand holding the cancer stick came up to her lips and she took a long drag of the cigarette. Holding in the toxic fumes she couldn’t help but stare at the thin ring line on her finger. Images of the night she left Reg flooded through her mind as she did. Things had already been on a rocky front for a while but that night topped it off. Reg had been having a meeting in his study with some people who he claimed he worked with. They were sitting by the fireplace unaware of anything and anyone around them. Lexa had gotten back from her own night meeting earlier then expected. At least early then Reg had expected. On her way upstairs, he happened to catch a bit of the conversation in the study and took a small detour. With the only light source in the house coming from the fire place, it wasn’t much of a chore to slip into the room unnoticed. What she heard that night made her glad she had come home early. Not only was Reg using her and her family, but he was working for the resistance against everything she stood for. Everything he had seen at the meetings and all they had discussed together had been relaid to the order and Ministry officials. There was no describing how livid and enraged Lexa was that moment then and there. If she hadn’t been greatly outnumbered she would have made her presence and thoughts known right then and there. Instead, she slowly slipped out of the room and headed upstairs packing everything she owned into her bottomless bag. When she had everything she owned and a few things she could use, like the stack of books and money hidden in the bedroom vault, she confronted her so called husband. With the house empty, aside from herself and Reg, she could take her rage out on the unsuspecting man. Leaving Reg unconscious and badly wounded, she set fire to the whole house before leaving and not turning back. The next morning she read about the fire in the Daily Prophet and her supposed death. As far as she knew, no one suspected her and having people think she was dead helped her keep below radar for a while.
That had been a few nights ago. Ever since she left the only places shes been is the cemetery. During the day she would pitch a tent in one of the crypts and wait it out till night fell. Less people walked around at night and it was easier to get things done. Her head started to spin as she realized she was still holding in that smoke she inhaled a while ago. Sighing, she let out the smoke letting the fresh air fill her lungs and body. She shook her head to clear it up faster before turning her attention back in the direction she knew Alex was. No matter how much she wanted to finally make peace with the other, she knew it had to be Alex’s move and not hers. If he decided that this wasn’t worth this time and leave then she would just have to let him cool off some more and try again. No she wasn’t going to give up but if he needed more time then she would be willing to wait despite her lack of patents. Hell she would even sit here on the other’s parents grave stone for months just to get yelled at. The silence and avoidance was really getting to her and she needed someone to talk to. No she needed Alex and he knew it. Otherwise he wouldn’t be taking his sweet time in confronting the situation.
